Beau Walsh

Beau is a PhD Student in Professor Su’s Heat Group. He obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.  Beau has research interests in experimental thermal hydraulics, advanced reactor technology, emissions reduction, and thermal energy storage. He is currently working on creating a more efficient thermal energy system to pair with advanced reactors. Beau is originally from Sarasota, Florida, and additionally enjoys exercising, video games, and playing bass in the UC Berkeley jazz ensembles.
